World Book Online Free Trial and Group Discount

ALS is pleased to announce that is has negotiated a group discount on World Book Online, a suite of online research tools that includes encyclopedia articles, primary source collections, educator tools, student activities, pictures, audio, and video, complemented by current periodicals and related Web sites. Two packages are available to public libraries at a discounted annual price: World Book Web Public Library Online Differentiated Package and World Book Web Public Library Power Pack X. Two packages are available to school, academic, and special libraries at a discounted annual price: World Book Web Advanced Differentiated Package for Schools and Colleges and World Book Web Power Pack X for Schools and Colleges. Package details, pricing options, and login information for the free trial were emailed to all ALS member libraries on December 9. The free trial is available through March 1, 2010. The discounted pricing is available through April 1, 2010. If you wish to purchase either package at the discounted price, please contact Genna Buhr before April 1, with your contact information, service population, and package selection. | |
